But with every creature, her once broken heart could not hold out.
She never ventured far, stayed within her realm.
It happened by accident,
This one night,
With this foreign creature from another sea.
The shark, mysterious yet wise,
Could no longer let his nature burden his longing.
Swam further than he had ever swam before.
They met with eyes of wonder,
At the gates of her house.
The Nymph reached out her hand to touch this strange thing.
Curious but hungry,
The shark circled her many times
Opened his jaws
and went straight for her heart.
